We’re always told morning workouts or exercising daily is good for our health. Breaking a sweat isn’t just great for us physically, it does wonders for our emotional well-being too. Sometimes though we need more to help us get to a positive headspace. Before we even leave the house, rather than dreading putting on our workout clothes, the easiest action you can take to feeling better about yourself is positively affirming yourself. Telling yourself positive affirmations is a form of self-care that anyone can take part in.

If you are new to positive affirmations, here are some you can start with and over time adapt them to make more sense and meaning to your life.

I will always be enough.

We are so often times broken down by the words and actions of others, sometimes we begin to believe it. What if they are right and I’m not good enough? Remind yourself that all that you are right at this moment is enough.

I am the driver of my life. I have the ability to create the life I wish to live.

You are front row and center in your own life. You have the ability to create the life you want to lead!

I am strong enough to stand tall and face my fears.

It can be so scary to face a hard decision but know that the strength lies inside of you to make the right choice for yourself.

I trust my intuition and I believe in what my soul is telling me.

You know. Sometimes you have to sit in your own silence for an uncomfortable amount of time before you can hear your intuition. But if you wait long enough and are patient and intent on listening, you will hear what you need to hear.

I am a valuable human being who will make a positive contribution to the world.

Sometimes we believe our value is just within our own life but our value is that we are all contributing members to a larger community and society. Your positive actions will affect those around you.

Every challenge I am going through is setting up the foundation for growth and strength.

Life is really hard. I get it. I’ve gone through my share of traumas. Maybe you’re not ready to listen to it or believe it today but just know that the struggle and challenge you currently face is setting you up for greater growth and prosperity for the future.

Here are some more examples of positive affirmations. Tell me how do you feel about positive affirmations? Do you have any you tell yourself?
