Ok, ok. This studio might be a tad bit outside of LA, but the drive/train ride is 1000% worth it. If you want to try yoga in LA, then Yoga House is the #1 place to try it. This intimate studio offers many different types of yoga, including Vinyasa and Ashtanga. With a laid-back vibe, you don’t have to worry if you are a beginner or intermediate yogi, everyone is welcome!

Pro Tip: For first-time students they offer the first week free to LA residents!

West-LA residents do not fret! You don’t have to drive out to Pasadena for this one. Located in a prime location on Barrington Avenue, Yogaraj offers yoga classes ranging from vinyasa, yin/yang, and restorative. Want to work on a specific pose? They have regular workshops for that, just check their schedule beforehand. The studio’s slogan is “No frills, no fads, just yoga.” Isn’t that what we are all looking for?

Pro Tip: LA Residents get 10 days unlimited for $20.

This yoga studio might not be as well known as the others, but it definitely deserves the spotlight! The classes here are more “diverse” than your traditional studio. You can try out Flying Yoga or take a Pole class! D&A describe their flying yoga classes as “a full body workout and stretch designed to help release the kinks from the spine, alleviate muscle tension, tone and elongate your muscles, mobilize and hydrate compressed joints and extend your flexibility.” Basically, if you want to get fit, become a regular at their flying yoga classes.

There are actually many different locations of Hot 8 Yoga in LA, but this review and recommendation is specifically for the Koreatown location. Hot 8 Yoga is not for the faint of heart. In my first few classes, I had to leave the room several times because I found the heat unbearable. BUT, after a few more classes, I was able to get the hang of it. I would recommend trying their “Power’ class, and let me know if you survive!

Pro Tip: Sign up for your FREE week if you’re new to Hot 8 Yoga!

Urban 728 Yoga is a hot yoga studio that offers over 50 classes a week!

Their class offerings include Fit, Flow, Power, Detox, Private, The 90, and Sculpt. I actually haven’t *personally* attended a class here, but I always hear the best things about it and their online reviews are almost all 5-star!

Pro Tip: New Student Special – First 30 days for $60.

Why teaching 'family first' doesn't work all the time. #FamilyRelationships #HealthyRelationships #Boundaries #TheDimpleLife
